Playsets come apart, but the longest pieces still need a route. Measure the path as a sequence of clear rectangles, not one gate-width number.

Start with the longest members

Estimate the length of swing beams, roof panels, slides, and platform rails. Long pieces need turning room even after they are detached.

Map each pinch point

Measure the opening and usable height at the gate, beside the house, near air-conditioning equipment, and where the path turns. Note slopes and steps.

Choose a staging patch

Set aside a flat area where hardware, plastic pieces, and lumber can be sorted without blocking the work or damaging plant beds.

Make the yard unavailable during work

Keep children and pets inside or off-site. Remove toys, hoses, and movable furniture from both the playset area and truck path.

  • Tightest turn
  • Number of steps
  • Flat staging area
  • Truck parking length

What to send with an estimate request

Include one wide photo, close photos of connections and damage, rough dimensions, the narrowest access measurement, utility status, and a note about concrete or anchors. Keep hazardous materials out of ordinary debris.
